This training is intended for CCP prevention professionals in Texas who did not complete these sessions at TX APPM.
About the Designing & Implementing Change training:
This training will focus on strengthening how coalitions move from identifying contributing factors to selecting and carrying out effective strategies. Participants will use logic models to clearly link local conditions and root causes to desired outcomes, helping guide practical and targeted strategy selection. The session will emphasize applying evidence-based strategies with fidelity while also making thoughtful adjustments to reflect community relevance through partnership with community members.
As part of a three-module series, this training helps deepen participants’ application of core coalition practices by building on existing experience and strengthening how coalitions design and implement meaningful prevention efforts.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
-
Use logic models to link contributing factors to desired outcomes and guide strategy selection.
-
Learn to apply evidence-based strategies with fidelity and adapt for community relevance in partnership with community members.
