About the training:
This training will explore approaches and tools for presenting and communicating data in ways that support evaluation and storytelling efforts. Through live demonstrations, trainers will show participants how to organize prevention data in Microsoft Excel and build pivot tables. Trainers will then demonstrate how to use those findings in Canva, a free online design tool, to create clear, visually appealing charts, infographics, and social media graphics, with practical tips on choosing the right visual, using plain-language headlines, and keeping designs accurate and accessible.
Continuing Education Hours: 3.0
Satisfactory completion of continuing education hours (CEHs) requires attending at least 85% of the training duration, participating in activities (e.g., polls, breakout rooms), and completing the training evaluation.
Requirements:
This training is virtual, occurring live over Zoom. All participants are encouraged to join on camera and expected to fully engage in the training to be eligible to receive a Continuing Education (CE) certificate upon completion.

You must submit a registration and be approved to attend. Registration priority will given to HHSC funded substance CCP program staff.
