About Hosted by Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and Texas Prevention Training (TPT), the APPM is a conference for HHSC-funded substance (mis)use prevention providers and their stakeholders. This event is designed to support and build capacity among the substance (mis)use prevention and behavioral health promotion workforce across Texas. APPM is an opportunity for participants to learn from local and national subject matter experts, connect with one another, and consider new or improved ways to conduct behavioral health best practice in their role in the system.
Theme Prevention: The Greatest Investment Forward (TGIF) With a focus on preventive measures and strategies, this conference aims to highlight the importance of investing in prevention as a means of promoting long-term health and well-being. We’ll also be embracing the nostalgia of the 90s.
